Job Description
The Talent Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s people strategy by leading talent acquisition, retention, development, performance management, and total rewards initiatives. This role also spearheads organizational development efforts to foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a passion for employee development, and a data-driven approach to talent and rewards management.
Key Responsibilities:1. Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels of the organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, define roles, and create compelling job descriptions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline through employer branding, partnerships, and proactive engagement with candidates.
2. Talent Retention:
- Design and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Monitor and analyze turnover trends, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
- Develop employee value propositions to ensure competitiveness in attracting and retaining talent.
- Facilitate programs to recognize and reward high performers.
3. Talent Development:
- Create and oversee learning and development programs aligned with organizational needs.
- Implement career development frameworks and succession planning initiatives.
- Conduct skills gap analyses and develop strategies to address competency needs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting development opportunities.
4. Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management systems to drive accountability and alignment with business objectives.
- Guide managers and employees in setting and evaluating goals through regular performance reviews.
- Provide training and coaching to managers on performance management best practices.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and inform talent and development strategies.
5. Total Rewards:
- Develop and manage the company’s compensation and benefits strategy to ensure market competitiveness.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement recognition and incentive programs.
- Regularly review and benchmark salary structures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and business goals.
- Communicate total rewards programs effectively to employees, emphasizing their value.
6. Organizational Development:
- Lead initiatives to improve organizational culture, alignment, and performance.
- Drive change management efforts to support organizational growth and transformation.
- Collaborate with leadership to align organizational goals with talent strategies.
- Facilitate workshops, team-building activities, and employee engagement surveys.
7. Metrics and Reporting:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for talent acquisition, retention, development, performance management, and total rewards.
- Analyze talent and rewards data to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
- Report on the effectiveness of talent strategies and programs to leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR roles with a focus on talent acquisition, retention, development, performance management, total rewards, or organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in talent and rewards management.
- Proven ability to build and implement strategic HR programs aligned with business goals.
- Proficiency in HR systems, talent management software, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
