Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Provide strategic HR partnership with teams to understand business priorities and identify new people business strategies. Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall Economic People Strategy and vision to transform the organization. Develop and oversee the execution of the People business plan with a 12–24-month time horizon to achieve key business objectives aligned to the business plan.
- Change Agent: Design, lead, and deliver significant global & local organizational change initiatives. Ensure programs and processes are aligned with business strategies and HR priorities. Lead cultural development and change initiatives that create a culture of accountability, engagement, and innovation. Provide thought leadership and utilize external networks to understand market trends and profile GHD at industry events.
- Enabler & Champion: Manage competing agendas and priorities across different departments. Proactively manage risk by identifying themes around complex employee relations matters and develop people strategies for resolution. Partner with leaders to identify the right business skills model based on changing needs and reshape groups to achieve improved business outcomes.
- Functional: Oversee the delivery of People Programs (recruitment, onboarding, performance, remuneration, talent management, offboarding) for the Region/Function/Business. Provide timely strategic and tactical advice to the Leadership team, while being agile and adaptable in your approach. Evaluate the operational people structure and team plan for continual improvement of efficiency and effectiveness, providing individuals with professional and personal growth opportunities.
Your Background: You have proven senior People leadership experience in global organizations, strong commercial thinking, and the ability to influence in complex environments across all levels. Most importantly, you’ll bring fresh thinking and pragmatic solutions. You can be both hands-on and effective in a leadership function. Team and culture are important to you. You enjoy leading a team, supporting their development, and working with the broader business to help them get the best out of their teams.
