Working closely with the HR Manager, you’ll support and help deliver a colleague experience that focusses on our values of Care, Lead, Life and Team. Your Day-to-day Part In This Will Include
- Support the HR Manager with the effective running of all HR processes and initiatives outlined in the company’s Employee Handbook and it’s People Plan.
- Provide ‘first-line’ advice to line managers and employees in the application of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the HR Manager with ER Casework.
- Carry out administrative tasks around selection and recruitment.
- Assist with the scheduling and recording of annual appraisals
- Provide administrative support associated with all stages of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and induction to offboarding and exit interviews. Includes issuing contracts and offer letters and letters confirming any contractual or pay changes.
- Support the company’s training, learning and development programmes by maintaining matrices and records and by booking courses.
- Carry our administration around the benefits offered by the company, e.g. enrolling/removing colleagues from the private medical insurance scheme.
- Support the wellbeing initiatives offered by the company by assisting with their organisation and implementation.
- Ensure the HR Data held by the company is accurate and up-to-date at all times, including through management of employee files, so that information can be obtained to understand trends etc.
What We Are Looking For In You
- You’ll have gained relevant/ related HR experience and preferably in a professional services environment.
- You might have gained your HR experience as a fraction of your current role in a smaller company, or maybe you’re a HR Assistant/ experienced administrator in a larger team and this is an opportunity to broaden your horizons and diversify.
- Conscientious, accurate and discreet.
- Effective communication skills.
