Job Description
We are seeking a customer obsessed, data oriented Business Analyst to work on the Amazon Launchpad team.
As a Business Analyst, you will help develop an analytic platform to drive deep dives, provide insights into the health and state of the Launchpad program. You will build dashboards and reports that support both retrospective and proactive reporting for the program.
You will own the design, creation, and management of large datasets. You will interact with internal program and product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, structure scalable and performant data solutions, and gain a deep understanding of key datasets.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and execute analytical and reporting projects in collaboration with business teams, data engineering, finance, other business analysts and specialists.
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
- Define the business problem and solution approach autonomously with limited guidance.
- Proactively identify opportunity areas for deep dive investigations and future program development.
- Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights.
- Write concise documents communicating results to stakeholders and visualize data to drive decision making

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related technical or quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
