About The Role
As a Marketing Generalist, the individual will be instrumental in scaling inbound marketing efforts during a period of rapid growth. This role encompasses ownership of key initiatives across content, digital marketing, events, and ABM campaigns to drive high-quality leads for the sales team. Collaboration with product and sales teams will be essential to create compelling narratives that showcase the company’s value to construction firms. The position provides an opportunity to build and own critical parts of the marketing function in a business with product-market fit and a clear growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
This is a dynamic role that spans all parts of the growth funnel, focusing on prioritizing, executing, and monitoring projects. Responsibilities include:
– Driving the content engine by writing and managing the creation of SEO-optimized blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership content.
– Managing social media presence, particularly developing and executing a LinkedIn content strategy to build brand awareness.
– Creating compelling customer success stories and case studies by interviewing customers and documenting their journeys.
– Supporting the planning and execution of industry events and webinars to generate qualified leads.
– Running and optimizing paid digital campaigns across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Google) with a focus on ROI.
– Executing ABM campaigns including direct mail, LinkedIn targeting, and gifting programs for target accounts.
– Designing and executing experiments across marketing channels to evaluate their success and inform future strategies.
– Maintaining marketing assets including website content, sales collateral, and digital content library.
– Tracking and reporting on key marketing metrics to continuously optimize campaign performance.
Qualifications
– 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
– Strong writing and content creation skills with experience in SEO best practices.
– Experience managing social media channels and creating engaging social content.
– Background in running paid digital advertising campaigns and analyzing campaign performance.
– Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
– Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
– Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
