As a Quality Control (QC) Technician, you will collaborate with the Quality Control and Production teams to ensure product and process quality. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and materials, conducting lab tests to meet food safety and manufacturing standards, maintaining laboratory equipment, recording data, and supporting audits. This role requires attention to detail, systematic verification of protocols, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Control and Production Support
- Inspecting and testing
- Inspect and test materials and products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Test products purchased from suppliers.
- Conduct line inspection & release
- Conduct the environmental swabbing.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies
- Ensure that measuring and testing equipment is working properly and is calibrated.
- Perform basic maintenance on Lab equipment, machines, and tools.
- Perform routine lab cleaning per standard acceptable lab practice and QC guidelines
- Upgrade and maintain tools used for environmental monitoring (ATP/Accupoint, Soleris)
- Order and stock lab supplies
- Ensuring compliance
- Verify that production methods meet relevant legislation and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Review and update spec. sheet when needed
- Maintain up to date all lab SOP and Work Instructions
- Recording and reporting
- Collect and record measurement data and write reports on findings.
- Report non-conforming results to supervisors.
- Manage and coordinate sample submissions and communicate results
- Maintain all laboratory/maintenance records
- Identifying issues
- Identify inconsistencies and faults in products and find the cause.
- Analyze test results to determine necessary improvements to the manufacturing process.
- Participate in Gemba.
- Perform facility GMP inspection
- Supporting external and internal team members
- Deal with customer complaints.
- Support and consult as needed with R+D and the Science team.
- Coordinate with third party labs to test metals, and other third-party tests
- Collect and prepare research and information needed for studies
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience as a technician in a regulated industry (Preferred)
- Microbiology Experience (Preferred)
- Lab Experience (Preferred)
- GMP Food and Drug Experience (Preferred)

Working Conditions:
- Working weekends and after hours may be a necessity sometimes.
