Job Purpose Description: To be accountable and drive HR processes like Performance , Job Evaluations & Org Design for ABFRL & Its subsidiaries

Job Context

ABFRL is India’s largest Fashion & Lifestyle Player with ambition of high growth, entry into new segments and strengthening its presence in existing portfolios. We have multi-Business Unit structure with most units having a distinct Business character and model. Fashion industry in India is fragmented by lot of small players. The talent scarcity in India market continues to be the bane. Fashion and Lifestyle industry is people driven and hence therefore it is critical to ensure that the company is able to attract, retain and develop top quality talent. Hence key to remain not just contemporary but to set the tone and be a leader in setting up HR Next practices in the industry that appeal to the workforce which is young, energetic, aspirational and creative.

As the company evolves, how does one bring consistency of experience of core rewards and performance experience at the Company level and yet provide desired flexibility and customization for the unique needs of each line of business is one of the crucial balancing act. The role holder is also expected to invest significant time with each line of business on various programs, initiatives or governance matters.

Role holder is expected to have keen interest in rewards as a subject matter, solid governance mindset and excellent program management skills to ensure seamless process delivery and superior customer experience.

Key Result Areas

Supporting Actions

Understand Business and talent Drivers

  • Build understanding of key drivers of the business and consequent talent priorities
  • Get a deep understanding of org and group philosophy in areas of rewards, performance, productivity and org design
  • Support the HR Strategy agenda in the areas of driving meritocratic rewards, building organization of future, improving organization agility, strategic workforce planning and differential rewards

Program management – Total Rewards and Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Program manage org wide processes of Annual Compensation Reviews, and workforce planning
  • Lead Market pricing on compensation, Benefits and other pay policies and practices
  • Partner will all spocs from HR Service Delivery and unit COEs on Rewards, Benefits and incentive administration
  • Run awareness campaigns within the teams around the processes
  • Prepare systematic and periodic status on process adherence, health to COE Leaders, business Head and HR Heads
  • Hold the team accountable for quality beyond process adherence

Process excellence

  • Ensure all Group/Business process are completed as per the guideline and timeline
  • Prepare ACR calendar for ABFRL and Business teams
  • Ensure timely and quality closure of all ACR related activities
  • Prepare standardized templates for submissions, leadership reviews and key decision areas
  • Conduct process health checks and prepare feedback for HR and business leadership

ACR Planning and closure

  • Prepare ACR calendar for ABFRL and Business teams

Program Design

  • Assist in future design of programs (AIP, LTIP, Rewards Philosophy and Approach, Workforce Planning) through data, solutioning and diagnostics
  • Proactively look for tools and areas to gather customer feedback (employees, leadership and Unit COEs)

HR Policies

  • Build and maintain all Employee Policies (relating to HR) in the company
  • Support effective adoption of the existing policies and ensure governance and compliance
  • Assist in continuously reviewing and contemporizing People Policies to make ABFRL a progressive and forward-thinking organization.
