Job Context
The incumbent will be responsible as a Data Analyst in Products & Business Management Team of SME Division, taking responsibility for managing end-to-end data projects, enhancing data analytics capabilities, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Description / Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end data projects, identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyze data, interpret patterns and trends, build models, give recommendations and create insightful automated reports
- Design and implement ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to efficiently collect and prepare data in support of business operations
- Identify, investigate and explain trends and patterns in the data
- Breaking down complex concepts into clear and simple reports for the stakeholders
- Maintain and develop new dashboards and reports for monitoring key performance indicators and facilitating data-driven decision-making processes within the IDLC
Job Requirements
Education
Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Statistics, Data Science, MIS, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relevant subject from a reputed university
Experience
Candidates must have hands on experience with relevant applications i.e. R and SQL (either professionally or as projects)
Other Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a data-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in data analytics tools; working knowledge of R and SQL is required
- Familiarity with machine learning, Tidyverse, Shiny, GT, and ggplot is favored
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses clearly and precisely
- Understanding of statistical principles, concepts, and standards in the financial industry is an asset
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and a willingness to learn quickly
