Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. The candidate should also have a strong background in Asset & Wealth Management. This role will involve developing and optimizing data solutions to drive business insights and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize data solutions using Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark.
- Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
- Provide technical expertise in Asset & Wealth Management to align data solutions with business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Implement best practices for data security and compliance in line with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Lead efforts to improve data processing performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Databricks and data engineering technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on data solutions.
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in Asset & Wealth Management domain.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Show proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines.
- Have a solid understanding of data security and compliance best practices.
- Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior developers.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering technologies.
