Salary: £95.00 – £120.00 per day

Contract Type: [Full-Time][Permanent/Fixed-Term]

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Maidenhead. As an HLTA, you will take a leading role in supporting student learning, delivering pre-planned lessons, and providing additional assistance to students who require extra support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the teacher’s absence.
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students, especially those with additional needs.
• Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons.
• Support classroom management, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure the well-being and development of all students.

About You

• Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working within a primary or secondary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and engage a class confidently.
• A commitment to promoting the well-being and progress of all students.
• Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
