Job Description
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with potential clients.
- Negotiating Distributorships/Dealerships: Explore and negotiate partnerships with other manufacturers for distributorships or dealerships to expand the company’s product portfolio.
- Project Coordination: Oversee projects from initial contact through to delivery, ensuring that customer requirements are met.
- Sales Support: Respond to technical inquiries, provide product and solution information, and assist with customer quotes and proposals and offer after sales support.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Tender Opportunities Sourcing: Identify and actively seek out tender opportunities in relevant markets.
- Sales Analysis: Analyze sales performance, monitor market trends, and suggest improvements to sales strategies.
- Customer Deliveries (as needed): Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of automation solutions, including possible on-site visits or assistance with logistics.
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent with 2 years working experience in automation manufacturing / EMS / Contract Manufacturer.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical project coordination.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
- Negotiation experience, ideally in securing distributorships or dealership agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
