Sales Engineer (Automation Industry / East, MNC)

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Negotiating Distributorships/Dealerships: Explore and negotiate partnerships with other manufacturers for distributorships or dealerships to expand the company’s product portfolio.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee projects from initial contact through to delivery, ensuring that customer requirements are met.
  • Sales Support: Respond to technical inquiries, provide product and solution information, and assist with customer quotes and proposals and offer after sales support.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Tender Opportunities Sourcing: Identify and actively seek out tender opportunities in relevant markets.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales performance, monitor market trends, and suggest improvements to sales strategies.
  • Customer Deliveries (as needed): Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of automation solutions, including possible on-site visits or assistance with logistics.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent with 2 years working experience in automation manufacturing / EMS / Contract Manufacturer.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical project coordination.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Negotiation experience, ideally in securing distributorships or dealership agreements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
