Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, and inventory accounting specific to pharmaceutical operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze cost structures and pricing strategies related to pharmaceutical products.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial workflows and processes.
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical industry trends and their potential financial impact.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management, cost accounting, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
