Job Purpose

The role bearer has the responsibility to manage aspects of the marketing services in order to ensure that the overall marketing objectives are achieved and the right messages are disseminated thus creating consumer awareness and demand while ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives, manage, track and deliver all work that comes into the Design Studio. The role holder is expected to ensure production of printed and online sales materials is delivered on time and on budget.

Manage, plan and organize the Marketing and Branding activities. The role holder is expected to ensure that consistent brand messages are presented to customers, investors, the market and staff.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement bank’s marketing strategy and marketing plan
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures
  • Support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
  • Assist in defining the most representative brand values for the bank in order to deliver on the brand promise
  • Manage the design studio and ensure the smooth running of the product teams’ workflow and administrative processes
  • Maintain production schedules, tracking peak periods and resourcing accordingly
  • Manage the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
  • Ensure the optimum marketing channel mix that will include digital media, offline channels, analytics and CRM
  • Ensure brand compliance and consistency across all IDFC First’s offerings, premises and across media channels by managing the brand and the brand identity
  • Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Negotiate and liaise with third-party marketing agencies
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Ensure compliance to corporate brand guidelines across all communication collaterals
  • Act as the expert for all marketing related queries and represent the bank at related events
  • Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development
  • Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team
  • Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the Banking business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality customer service
  • Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Keep abreast with latest trends in social communication and branding global best practices in marketing
  • Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities
  • Build, groom and retain top-class talent pool to enable high levels of creativity and innovation
  • Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure
  • Ensure adherence to benchmarks/processes set up for finalizing commercials and other key parameters
