Registered Nurse (RN) Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. The RN acts as a patient advocate. The RN provides support, information and direct care and utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures. The Registered Nurse educates patients and families on significant self-care issues. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.
Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements
- Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered Nurse (RN) Work Schedule
- May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy.
- Work 24 hours per weekend- two 12-hour weekend shifts scheduled between 7pm Friday through 7a Monday.
- Paid 4 hours of regular day at base rate for each scheduled weekend shift. (Work 24 hours, paid for 32 hours)
- Eligible for all applicable hourly shift differentials
- Eligible to work additional shifts at either campus. Eligible for any applicable premium pay offered. Overtime is paid after 40 worked hours in the workweek. The 8 premiium hours do not count toward weekly overtime test.
Registered Nurse (RN) Benefits
