About The Role

The Competition Lead Katherine Big Rivers is responsible for management and administration of the Big Rivers Football League (Seniors, Youth and Junior Competitions) as well as support the promotion and development of the game in the region.

Based in Katherine, Northern Territory and reporting to the Football Competitions Manager NT, this role is critical to the success of the BRFL competition.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Key Accountabilities

  • Preparation and Management of the BRFL Match Day operations.
  • Ensure the competition is administered in line with the National Policies, AFLNT Rules & Regulations and BRFL By-Laws.
  • Management of the relationships between the AFLNT, League and Club presidents and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the match staff duties and rostering.
  • Other projects from time to time as required by the Football Competitions Manager -NT.
  • Assist in preparing any relevant information that will assist the media department with media releases that relate to the league.
  • Compiling of data and information for competition reporting.
  • Support all Competitions Leads to ensure consistency in operations and management of competitions in the NT.
  • Work closely with Game Development and Remote teams to ensure a sustainable future for all competitions, clubs and communities in the Big Rivers region.
  • Support and contribute to the success of the broader team.
