Financial Reporting Associate $100,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes per U.S. GAAP
• Generate investor-specific monthly reports and handle investor inquiries
• Perform monthly/quarterly accounting reconciliations to verify accuracy
• Compile audit deliverables and review formal communications from auditors
• Assess reporting thresholds to ensure compliance and meet portfolio constraints for individual investors
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements in multiple foreign jurisdictions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to hedge funds or private equity
• CPA certification or active progress toward certification
• Knowledge of fixed income securities, derivatives, complex financial instruments, and master-feeder structures (preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Total Return accounting system is a plus
