Piper Companies is currently in search of a Full Stack Software Engineer for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Annuities and Life Insurance technology organization located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Software Engineer will work a hybrid schedule onsite schedule with 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and will be an important part of the Software Engineering team. The Software Engineer will work across the entire application stack and contribute to the architecture and strategy fueling the next generation of their cloud-based digital platforms.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Software Engineer include:

  • Develop and implement APIs and User Interfaces
  • Drive efficiency and development best practices
  • Develop test automation, identify and remediate bugs
  • Document code

Qualifications for the Full Stack Software Engineer include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Field
  • At least 2 years of development experience
  • Firm understanding of Front-End and Back-end Development languages/frameworks, specifically Javascript, Node.JS, ReactJS/Typescript

Compensation for the Full Stack Software Engineer:

  • Annual Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 plus 10% Bonus, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401k, PTO, Paid Holiday, and Sick Leave as Required by Law
