The Role
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Remix will play a pivotal role as a member of the executive team, overseeing all aspects of our distribution center operations, supply chain, and customer support team. This role will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale operations, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and strong leadership skills.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute operational strategies aligned with long-term objectives.
- Optimize the distribution network, supply chain, and customer support processes while driving innovation and efficiency through industry insights.
- Oversee daily operations at the Ravno Pole distribution center, ensuring accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Set ambitious performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory, transportation, and vendor relationships, while mitigating risks with advanced forecasting.
- Lead the customer support team to deliver exceptional service, implement strategies for improved satisfaction, and use insights to enhance operations.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across all operational areas.
- Develop and manage budgets, implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies and collaborate on system integrations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and promote sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.
- Align operational goals with company objectives through cross-functional collaboration, proactively addressing risks and maintaining contingency plans.
What you’ll need
- Fluency in Bulgarian & English
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, supply chain, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale distribution center operations and complex supply chains.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with operational technologies such as WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment – high potential start-up business with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business needs into operational solutions.
