Essential Functions Of The Role

Daily cash reconciliation and vendor record maintenance. Monthly Journal entries, Balance Sheet account and intercompany reconciliation. Assist with consolidated financial reporting, audit and annual 1099’s and additional assignments and projects as required.

  • Take full ownership of assigned work and functional areas. Substantial progress is necessary in establishing uniform processes and to facilitate annual financial audits to ensure accurate reporting to our owners and our banks.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the best quality work.
  • Partner with other departments to improve overall business operations and identify opportunities for improvement and establish “Best Practice” standards.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • High quality accountant with financial audit background.
  • A strategic and tactical thinker. Ability to assess processes and find ways to make them better.
  • Passion for expanding knowledge and a strong focus on delivering excellence.
  • High emotional intelligence and business and financially savvy.
  • Positive, optimistic, action-oriented individual with a “can do” work ethic.
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical capabilities.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; interact well with all levels of organization.
  • Ability to travel; approximately up to 10%.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree: CPA or CMA preferred.

Work Environment

This position is in person at the corporate office. The noise level within the office is usually quiet and the temperature is regulated to be comfortable. Occasionally the employee is exposed to the Mill or packaging facility work environment which can be hot, and the noise level is loud.

Pay Transparency: The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $28-$32 per hour. Other rewards may include quarterly bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance.
