Job Description
- Demonstrate specialist knowledge of a wide range of cardiac interventions and specialist treatments in order to provide information to staff and patients, contributing to the informed consent process.
- Demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills relating to the impact of patient condition and co-morbidities in terms of outcomes and level of care required
- To liaise with appropriate departmental staff and discharge team to optimise smooth transition of cardiology patients from pre-screening or admission to discharge home.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment ensuring adherence to Trust standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control at all times.
- To involve patient/user views in the development and evaluation of the cardiology advanced nurse practitioner role
