Job Description

• What is the opportunity?

The role will support the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Team in New York

What will you do?

• Transaction execution, new business presentations and meetings, and other such duties
• Working with Associates and other Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials
• Coordinating with Industry, Product and other groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas/opportunities
• Generate new ideas for content creation and analyses for clients’
• Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business
• Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities and RBC as a whole
• Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis
• Other such duties, responsibilities and authority as may be reasonably required
• What is needed for success?
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of Investment Banking experience
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Familiar with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Series 79 licensed

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 – $130,000 depending on class year and factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
