Production Manager

Your new role

As our Production Manager, you’ll report to the Operations Manager and lead our workshop teams in fabricating and assembling modular buildings. No two days will be the same as you focus on safety, quality, productivity, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety through active WHSE participation and building a strong WHSEQ culture.
• Manage and engage the workforce to meet operational goals efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with customer contracts and documentation requirements.
• Deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Drive initiatives to improve production efficiencies and allocate resources effectively.
• Strategically plan for future order pipelines and customer demands.
• Collaborate with HR and Safety teams to support staff training and development.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Production leadership team while maintaining open communication with all staff.

About You

With a Solid Leadership Background In Manufacturing Or Heavy Industry, You’ll Bring a Trades Qualification And a Strong Commitment To Quality And Safety. You Have a Proven Ability To Inspire And Mentor Teams To Achieve Results, Coupled With The Following

• Trade Certification (preferably construction-related) and/or tertiary qualifications in Business, WHS, or Project Management (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated success in improving safety, efficiency, and performance outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills to adapt plans based on data insights.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels.
