Forklift operator

As a full-time forklift driver at a growing company on the Maasvlakte, you play a key role in the efficient handling of biofoods and the careful transportation of products like rice and quinoa seeds. Together with your colleagues, you ensure smooth operations: from loading and unloading goods to maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety standards.

Your day starts at 7:00 AM, and you’re done by 4:00 PM, giving you consistent and predictable work hours.

Your main tasks include:

• Safely and securely loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving goods;
• Using a forklift and scanner to transport and track items with precision;
• Ensuring the proper securing of loads for safe transportation;
• Performing routine maintenance on machinery where needed;
• Communicating clearly with colleagues about shipments and logistics.
