This role is with Reliance’s Battery Business, for Lithium Ion Cell manufacturing Plant’s maintenance team. We are looking for individuals passionate about renewables to be part of this initiative.

This role is for Maintenance Mechanical Engineer for the electrode section & is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of electrodes equipment. This includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of the equipment used in the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrode equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues related to mixing machines.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, documenting issues and resolutions.
  • Identify and order necessary spare parts to keep equipment in operational condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Educational Qualification:- BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical

Experience

7~10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the lithium-ion battery or related industry, FMCG, Rubber, Ceramics, Pharma.

Knowledge of battery cell manufacturing equipment and process

Skill & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and automation systems used in electrode section.
  • Familiarity with maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
