About The Work Environment

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you’ll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About You

You are a proactive and strategic thinker with a strong track record in creating and implementing strategic frameworks, processes, and governance standards. You find excitement in assessing internal and external market positions, decision-making and prioritization methodologies, defining roles and skills, managing budgets, and aligning operating models. You excel in ensuring effective planning, governance, and management. You have a talent for translating data into clear, compelling narratives for influencing key decision-makers.

About The Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, strategy, or management consulting roles.
  • 2-3+ years of leading teams in a professional setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to audiences at all levels.?
  • A keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to problem-solving.?
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.?
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results within deadlines.?

About The Day-to-Day

  • Define Product Vision: Collaborate with key stakeholders (Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership) to define and refine the product vision and long-term strategy.
  • Prioritization: Support the prioritization of features, enhancements, and initiatives, ensuring that they align with strategic goals, resource availability, and customer impact.
  • Product Planning: Contribute to long-term business and product plans, aligning them with the company’s overall goals and market opportunities.
  • Governance Models: Define and execute the methodology for how we operate and deliver, and measure/track business and financial performance. Establish and maintain governance standards that ensure consistency and compliance across the product organization. Develop and enforce best practices and standards for product management and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Frameworks: Help define the budgeting framework, ensuring that all product-related budgets are aligned with strategic goals and effectively managed. Monitor and adjust budgets as necessary to support product initiatives and organizational objectives.
  • Performance Measurement: Help implement performance frameworks to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of roles within the product organization. Ensure that performance metrics align with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Review and refine processes and frameworks to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Adapt frameworks based on feedback and evolving business needs to drive operational excellence.

Compensation

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $95,000 and $115,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possess. As part of our recruiting process, shortlisted candidates will be asked their salary expectations for this position.
