Salary: $5.00 – $7 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time

Job Description:
As an Underwriting / Customer Service Specialist, you will shop the insurance market to secure the best possible renewals for clients, deliver exceptional customer service, and provide underwriting support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in client interactions.
Requirements:
- Experience working with Applied Systems (Epic).
- Previous experience in customer service or underwriting (or a similar role).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Background in property and casualty insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify and secure the best insurance renewals for clients.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support underwriting activities, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain client records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service and achieve client satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the team and clients.
Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
- A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
- A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
- A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
- Healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of work, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
