Job Summary

  • Responsible for the coordination of the Medical Staff Services Office processes in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and corresponding policies; Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with medical staff members, department chairpersons, and administration to support and enhance the onboarding and credentialing process. Gathers, synthesizes, and disseminates detailed information for provider credentialing, enrollment, and billing system. Maintains accurate records and serves as the subject matter expert for daily activities within the department.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Preferred: Associate degree in a related field
  • Experience
    • Required: 3 years of healthcare or related experience
    • Preferred: 2 years of credentialing, privileging or enrollment
  • Skills
    • Computer literate with Microsoft Office products, spreadsheet management, database management, and ability to adapt to new software programs
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with individuals, small groups and leadership.
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • Exhibits a high degree of confidentiality
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
    • Excellent customer service skills
