Position Summary:
Under the direction and oversight of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Intensive In-Home (IIH) Therapist manages the clinical care of the identified client and family. The therapist provides supervision and oversight to the IIH team members.
Major Responsibilities
- Assess the client’s needs as well as family needs. Work with the family and team to develop clinical goals on the individual treatment plan.
- Implements the Evidence Based Practices taught on campus within the family home to increase continuity of care.
- Provide individual and family therapy for each client served by the team.
- Continually assess client’s clinical needs and provide therapy and support.
- Provide clinical recommendations and guidance to the IIH team members. Support the team as it comes up with creative ways to deliver services to the client and their families.
Other Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to of all members of the team for the provision of this service.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that all client records are updated and maintained to licensure, state, and accreditation standards.
- Work closely with school staff, family members, social workers, court counselors, mental health treatment staff, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plan.
- Participates in the agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process.
- Performs related duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.
Requirements
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in a Human Services field; a provisional or full license to include LCSW or LPC. The provisional status must be completed within a 2 year period. Experience with Motivational Interviewing preferred.
Skills/Physical/Working Conditions
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by Eliada’s carriers. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time based on the availability of the family.
