The Director, Partnerships & Experiential Marketing will be a key leader in driving the growth of Outside Interactive’s experiential marketing efforts. Reporting to the VP, Marketing this role will focus on business development, marketing collaboration, and programming support, ensuring seamless coordination and impactful execution across departments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of relationship-building, operational leadership, and strategic insight to grow revenue and foster meaningful partnerships within the Experiential Marketing division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Own and drive alignment between departments at a strategic level, ensuring consistent delivery on organizational goals and priorities.
  • Lead the development and execution of high-impact business development initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy.
  • Identify and oversee process improvements that enhance cross-functional efficiency, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Business Development & Client Relations
  • Develop and own the strategic vision for business development in partnership with senior leaders, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with revenue goals.
  • Lead key client relationship strategies and renewal processes, serving as a senior point of contact for high-value partnerships.
  • Oversee the expansion of partnerships in key markets, including Denver, with a focus on sustainable growth and long-term impact.
  • Marketing Collaboration & Campaign Execution
    • Partner with senior marketing leaders to develop and oversee the strategic roadmap for B2B and consumer marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Own the strategy for initiatives that drive ticket sales and elevate brand presence for experiential events, ensuring measurable results.
    • Leverage data analytics to identify market opportunities and optimize campaign performance, driving ROI across marketing efforts.
    • Programming, Production & Talent Management
      • Partner with the Director of Strategic Initiatives on the strategy and execution for event programming, production schedules, and budgeting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
      • Oversee talent strategy, including the identification, negotiation, and engagement of talent, ensuring alignment with high-level event objectives.
      • Drive innovation in programming and take ownership of the end-to-end event experience, ensuring differentiation and impact.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in production, talent management, marketing, business development, sales, or experiential marketing, with a strong focus on client relations, events, and revenue growth.
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Create Impact.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
    • Experience in marketing, event programming, and talent acquisition is a plus.

    What We Offer

    Colorado Jobs: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $80,000 to $130,000. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more. The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
