Real Estate Developer

A Real Estate Developer is responsible for overseeing a project from its conception to completion. They evaluate potential properties, manage the construction process, and negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors. They also consider factors of the environment and the community to ensure that the project adheres to local regulations and meets the needs of potential buyers or tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential properties for development and determine feasibility;
• Create and maintain development plans and schedules;
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals;
• Hire and manage contractors and vendors;
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes;
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process;
• Market and sell or lease the completed project;

Qualifications

• Ability to negotiate contracts and manage budgets;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
