We’re looking for a dynamic individual with a proven background of success and track record in leading a sales team, developing and executing successful sales strategies within the food packaging industry.

Overview

The Vice President of Sales plays an important role in our organization that provides senior level leadership and management for our business development strategy and sales team, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of Amhil North America and Stone Straw Ltd.

  • Develop/execute sales strategy to grow revenues across all lines of business in North America.
  • Establish annual business development budgets, sales targets, and strategic plans.
  • Actively identify and implement growth opportunities.
  • Develop new and iterate existing products by engaging with customers, with an eye on the competitive environment, market conditions and the ability to scale.
  • Attract and develop top business development talent.
  • Highly disciplined, organized and metrics driven approach to managing and reporting on sales performance.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team and provide input on overall business direction, foster a positive work culture, and strong collaboration with other functional leaders.
  • Continuous learning and thought leadership while participating in industry events and organizations.

What we’re looking for

  • A Great Attitude!
  • 10+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in a food packaging manufacturing.
  • 5 years in a senior sales management position.
  • Post secondary degree in business or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong C-Level presence, strategic acumen, consultative-selling skills and executive credibility.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Deep understanding of sustainability trends in the packaging industry.
  • Solid strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, and business (competitive) strategy.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, providing personal leadership through example.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to business development with a positive “let’s figure it out” attitude and a desire to succeed.
  • Able and willing to travel throughout the US and Canada.
