So, what will the Workforce Development Specialist at Terrestris do?
The Workforce Development Specialist will provide comprehensive HR administrative support to the Workforce Development Branch, located within the HR Office at NSWCPD. This position will involve a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the training and development initiatives of the organization, ensuring smooth operations and tracking of mandatory training, onboarding, and course materials.
What does a typical day look like for a Workforce Development Specialist?
The Workforce Development Specialist’s day is dynamic. The role involves managing training schedules, updating course registration tools, and tracking attendance. They support mandatory training compliance by monitoring progress and updating systems, while assisting the Academic Program Manager with course completions, service agreements, and reimbursements. The specialist also helps with onboarding tasks, distributes materials, and maintains the onboarding schedule. Additionally, they deliver course materials to classrooms and collect evaluations to ensure training effectiveness. Throughout the day, they ensure all administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.
