Summary
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate with OnePointe Solutions, you will manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. You are responsible for organizing inventory, reviewing shipment schedules, and documenting any damages. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain shipping records, and properly label items. Collaboration and communication with other staff and service providers are key aspects of this role, ensuring smooth operations across the shipping and receiving process.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers’ count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing officer per company policy.
- Record damaged or defective items in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.
- Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets.
- Review work orders assigned for the week and pick materials for each order to ensure they are present and ready for assembly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shipping area and the areas and storage locations outside the building as well as inside.
- Ensure that all outgoing shipments are properly labeled for shipment.
- Provide the weights and dimensions for outgoing shipment to Logistics.
- Organize and maintain shipping documentation and Bill of Ladings.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Order shipping supplies as required to maintain adequate packaging materials for orders.
- Maintain hardware levels of daily used stock and reorder when necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Basic understanding of dock and warehouse procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have forklift experience; State motor vehicle operator’s permit for the operation of forklifts is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to traverse the distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
