What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals
• Secure patient’s upfront payment and assist patients in finding financial assistance when needed
• Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and manage denials by following up on missing paperwork
• Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of two years of experience in a related field
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of quality focus
• Excellent customer service skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Previous experience in healthcare or medical billing is preferred
