Description

Overall, a Support Staff Recruiter and HR Generalist is an important member of the HR team who helps attract and select top talent for our expanding Lumina HealthCare division. Responsible for assisting with the recruitment and selection process of primarily hourly support staff, both clinical and non-clinical. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR team to source, screen, and interview potential candidates. Will also assist in building out our Paycom Talent Acquisition module.

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care, along with its sister organization Lumina HealthCare, provides specialized health care services to patients in the post-acute environment through conservative, evidence-based care. We limit unnecessary and expensive treatments, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations. We achieve optimal outcomes by coordination, collaboration, and education with patients, their caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Posting job openings.
  • Sourcing pipeline of candidates via networking and social media platforms to attract potential candidates.
  • Reviewing resumes and cover letters to determine if candidates meet the minimum qualifications for a position.
  • Conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Coordinating with hiring managers to schedule in-person and/or virtual interviews and coordinate logistics.
  • Conducting reference and background checks on potential candidates.
  • Preparing and presenting Offer Letters to the final candidates.
  • Providing regular updates to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding of all Lumina new hires.
  • HR Generalist support for Lumina employees including benefits and ACA support for these entities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess candidate qualifications and make hiring recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.

Physical, Environmental And Mental Requirements

The Support Staff Recruiter will work remotely using computers and office equipment. The position requires frequent typing (finger dexterity), frequent reading and writing (visual acuity) and comfortable with being on camera throughout the day for interviews and meetings. Works well under pressure.

Schedule/Location:

Full-time, Monday – Friday (primarily in the Pacific time zone)
