Job Summary
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for carrying out tasks related to determining the provider contract compliance for school readiness programs. This position will monitor child care programs for compliance and provide technical assistance and support. This position will maintain provider records including the provider profile, related components, and contracts. This role will process monthly attendance for payment of child care services and support child care providers in understanding payments. This role requires patience, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Essential Functions And Key Tasks

- Establish relationships with assigned child care programs and contact regularly.
- Process child care provider profiles and initial review of contracts and amendments.
- Provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in person.
- Monitor child care programs for compliance with contracts.
- Process attendance submissions and initial review of adjustment requests.
- Review data and cleanse as appropriate.
- Monitor work queues for compliance with DEL grant agreement.

Required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- An Associate degree in early childhood education or related field from an accredited university/college.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role.
Preferred
- Training and implementation of trauma-informed care, Conscious Discipline, and strengthening families approaches.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Telework will require internet speeds of 4Mpbs download/4Mpbs upload and working in the immediate geographical area.
- Must have reliable transportation, minimum insurance coverage, and a clean driving record.
- Will need a reliable mobile phone service for technology compliance requirements (i.e. multifactor authentication).
