Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

Position Overview

This role is part of the Legal Team and responsible for monitoring federal and state regulatory changes, assessing their potential impact on the organization, and leading the development of strategies to ensure compliance while supporting operational efficiency. This role will identify applicable laws and regulations, communicate such requirements to the business and collaborate with internal stakeholders, and external clients the scope and application of such laws and regulations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Identify, monitor and analyze new and amended federal and state laws and regulations impacting the business, ensuring timely awareness and assessment of new and/or amended requirements.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to identify impact of such federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement processes to assess regulatory changes, including identifying affected departments and systems while defining and clearly communicating required actions.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring organizational alignment and adherence with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of regulatory updates and track their implementation progress across the organization.
  • Consult with internal business partners regarding legislation, collect information and data to help determine Capital Rx’s position.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and provide support for inquiries, such as RFPs, RFIs, client inquiries, etc.
  • Assist Legal Team in ad hoc projects as directed.
  • Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively
  • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with business partners and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently, with a willingness to pitch in on ad hoc projects as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience in PBM and/or Health Plan
  • Experience in regulatory affairs or legislative analysis

Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000
