Job Description

Job Summary: The HR Coordinator will serve the HR Department of Murfin Drilling in a variety of roles, including, but not limited to, recruitment, electronic onboarding, and administrative functions within the Paycom HRIS system. The HR coordinator will also work under the supervision of the HR Director to manage special projects.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of employment law and application of laws concerning company policies and government compliance
  • Working understanding of worker’s comp administration
  • Understanding of self-funded benefit programs
  • Technical skills working within various software including Paycom and Canva
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English and in Spanish
  • Technical writing skills with the ability to create thorough documentation
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and execute projects to meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify gaps in processes and use critical thinking skills to find creative solutions to improve efficiency
  • Technical skills to create and analyze reports using data from HRIS system and databases utilized by vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a Human Resources role
  • SHRM CP or PHR (preferred)
  • Bi-lingual in English and in Spanish
  • Experience in implementing new modules in the HRIS system (required)
  • Experience working within Paycom HRIS system (preferred)
