Discipline Engineer – Electrical – IDC

Role & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of engineering design deliverables within the assigned discipline, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Lead and other discipline engineers to integrate design solutions across different engineering disciplines.
• Prepare / Review Engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports within the discipline / from DEC.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings to address design issues and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support procurement activities by providing technical input for equipment/material specifications, vendor evaluations, and technical bid evaluations.
• Assist in the resolution of technical queries and deviations during construction, working closely with the construction team to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent

Experience

• 8 – 12 years in Design and Engineering of EPC project in respective discipline
