Your Next Opportunity

As a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Designer you will update, organize, and maintain Epcon’s plan collection used by all six regions (Columbus, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville and Indianapolis) and Epcon Franchisees. The position will operate BIM based applications to design, create, and/or modify residential architectural construction documents to a quality that meets or exceeds total customer satisfaction. Finally, the position will audit marketing renderings to ensure they match master plan specifications and representations.

What Does it Take to be Successful?

  • Apply an exceptional knowledge of residential building codes and standards while creating, reviewing, analyzing, understanding, and modifying residential construction documents (master plans, base plans, and job starts) to meet Epcon’s needs and specifications with CAD/BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Develop and maintain moderate productivity speed, quality control/accuracy on assigned projects.
  • Communicate with internal customers through email and virtual meetings pertaining to specific project needs and collaborate on additional projects with other team members. Provide an above average level of service in internal and external customers and communicate timelines, standards, and deliverables to supervisor.
  • Participate in regular meeting including, but not limited to, the following: Provide project status reports with product development team and project summary reports to analyze effectiveness of production methods, client updates and requirements.

The qualified candidate will have an Associate’s of Science degree in Architectural Design or Residential Construction required (Bachelor’s preferred). The position requires 2 years of experience preparing and/or modifying residential construction drawings.
