This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Research Technician to join the Menon lab within the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation, as part of a programme funded by the UKRI. This is a full-time post for 2 years, with a possibility to extend further.

The research programme aims to unravel how lung-infiltrating B cells contribute to chronic lung disease, by utilizing a combination of tissue and blood samples from patients/controls, in vivo disease models, and cutting-edge technologies.

The role will be to provide technical support for a range of research activity including; processing blood and tissue samples, managing the sample biobank, running/troubleshooting experiments, the use and maintenance of research associated equipment and other associated duties that commensurate with the grade. Some experience in immunology research is strongly preferred.
