As a result of our fast and continuing growth, we are looking for a full or part qualified accountant to join our thriving Finance team.

Working closely with our Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing high quality financial analysis, supporting strategic decision making and overseeing management accounting activities for the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Reporting: Preparing and presenting monthly financial performance reports, KPI analysis and ad-hoc reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Month-End Close: Managing the month-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Variance Analysis: Conducting detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for variances
  • Team Support: Providing support and guidance on accounting best practices and professional development.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process by collaborating with department heads to align with strategic goals and financial targets.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency Improvement: Monitor and analyse business costs, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting measures to optimize financial performance.

What is required from you:

We are looking for a fully (or nearly) qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA ambitious Accountant. You will need to be a proactive individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You’ll be comfortable leading a small team while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver results.
