Position Summary

Title – Assistant Manager – QA (Automation Testing)

QA lead is responsible for formulating the test strategy and solutions for the relevant specialized technology and domain. They provide technical leadership and direction for the testing organization pertaining to that domain/technology. Test specialist works with Business Analysts, development and the Architect team to understand business requirements of the product. They liaison with other teams based on project requirements and provide technical guidance to the team to deliver robust integrated test solutions. A specialist understands, builds and standardizes process and procedures towards the specialization.

A Test specialist works continually to develop advanced skills in their designated competency and strives to foster broader organizational maturity in these areas. This is accomplished through mentoring, consultation and utilization across Business Solutions and is additionally facilitated via the Center of Excellence.?

Responsibilities

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, deploys, and maintains new automated test packages (high- and low-level test strategy, test case and test script design, development and maintenance, test execution plans and test data development, management, and maintenance.)
  • Lead and guide the team, follow process and Deloitte’s best practices.
  • Tests all level complexity system applications and verifies all output.
  • Attains and utilizes understanding of the multiple layers of supporting applications, interfaces to other products and systems, different types of databases and application development languages.
  • Report any product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements.
  • Reviews and interprets all documentation including business requirements, functional and design specification, etc.
  • Automation test using TOSCA.
  • Performs maintenance and support duties.
  • Ensuring conformance and application of test process management tools process and guidelines
  • Ensuring conformance and application RUP testing discipline standards
  • Content Administration, Quality Assurance/Testing
  • Content testing
  • Interoperable testing

People Management

  • Responsible for team appraisal and performance
  • Responsible for stakeholder management and collaboration among Development/Architect /BA and project managers for complex development
  • Team mentoring and training on skills.

Knowledge Sharing / Documentation

  • Knowledge sharing and training documents on specialized subjects.
  • Document third party tools usage and integration process with Deloitte applications.
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, MIS, Information Technology, or related field of study
  • Should have 6-8 years of overall testing experience in manual, automation testing is a plus but not a mandatory.
  • Automation tool is a plus.
  • The below experience is mandatory.

Ø Lead experience, User interface testing, Data validation & comparison, API/Integration testing, Mobile application testing

  • Experience in design and creation of test suites
  • Experience in basic SQL, with an ability to write queries to pull the data and validate/compare.
  • Experience in Designing data models.
  • Experience in working with the corporate environment by collaborating with teams across geographies.
  • Understand the functional specifications from management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Responsible for stakeholder interaction and collaboration among Development/Architects and business analysts

Location : Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Pune

Work shift Timings : 11 AM to 8 PM
