Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the Human Resource Department, compensation program, and employee/employer relations within the district. This role ensures the effective coordination and management of the district’s student enrollment department, acts as the custodian of student and employee records, administers the district’s workers’ compensation program, and serves as the District’s Title IX Coordinator. They ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal policies, practices, and procedures, including workplace harassment and uniform complaint policy. Additionally, the Assistant Superintendent will supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. Please see the attached job description for a full list of responsibilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must possess: – Master’s Degree – Valid California Administrative Services Credential – Ten (10) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher and site administrator.
