Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure new projects are set up correctly within the construction data base .
- Ensure new construction projects are set up properly within the current financial system.
- Process field photos and documentation to insure proper placement on the server.
- Prepare project daily reports for active projects and distribute to the necessary recipients.
- Assist field personnel in scheduling inspections, sub-contractors , rentals, and any other field support activity as needed.
- Reconciliation of field receipts for materials, rentals, subcontractors to insure proper job costing.
- Reconcile construction job costs to the weekly job status report and distribute to the appropriate personnel .
- Monitor and reconcile project WIP report and distribute to the appropriate personnel .
- Interact with Accounting and Human Resource inter department personnel as needed.
- Maintain daily field personnel work log.
- Ensure new equipment is properly tagged and entered to the current asset tracking system.
- Assist in project close out document processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education And Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred And Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1-3 years in a general business environment with project coordination and/or administration experience.
Skills Required
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office (MS Excel, pivot tables / v-lookups), and an ability to learn a variety of tracking and project management software
- Excellent organizational/administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required
- Office Environment
- Ability to sit for extended time periods.
