We are seeking a strategic and result-oriented Associate Vice President – Sales (India Head) to lead and drive our sales organization in India. This pivotal role will oversee AI Sales and GCC Sales teams, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of the Indian market dynamics and possess a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and achieving aggressive growth targets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership
  • Define and execute the overall sales strategy for India, aligning with the organization’s vision and business goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive market penetration across target verticals and industries.
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Oversee and mentor the AI Sales Head and GCC Sales Head, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability within the sales teams.
  • Revenue and Market Expansion
  • Own the sales P&L for India, ensuring targets for revenue, profitability, and market share are met or exceeded.
  • Develop new business opportunities and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with C-suite and senior executives of prospective and existing clients to understand their business challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as a key point of escalation and a trusted advisor to strategic accounts.
  • Collaboration and Innovation
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to craft client-centric solutions and ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to shape product and service offerings.
  • Market Intelligence and Reporting
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Present regular updates and insights to the leadership team on sales performance and market developments.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 18+ years of sales leadership experience in technology, software solutions, or related industries, with at least 5 years managing senior sales leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling sales operations and achieving multi-million-dollar revenue targets in India.
  • Strong understanding of AI and GCC (Global Capability Centers) markets and their specific sales dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture C-suite relationships.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
