POSITION DUTIES

Maryland’s Comptroller Brooke Lierman is building her Executive Office team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the agency and work at the center of the action, in a fast-paced office that embraces creative ideas and innovation.

This position provides administrative support to the Executive Office of the Comptroller. A large portion of this position’s responsibilities will consist of responding to telephone and email inquiries received by the Office of the Comptroller and the other half will be supporting the Office of Equity and Transformation (OET) with administrative support for the scheduling, coordinating and preparing for meetings, research, maintaining workplans, compiling reports, and other administrative functions.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Four years of administrative experience.

  • Candidates may substitute a bachelors’ degree from an accredited, four-year college or university for the required experience.
  • For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

Work locations include the Annapolis and Baltimore offices as well as providing support for the district offices as needed.
