The role: End-to-End Planning Executive

Working at the heart of the business, this role is critical to support the transformation of planning within British Airways Network Planning and help drive the closer integration of planning across the airline. You will be expected to lead and develop seasonal planning within the company’s End to End Planning governance, ensuring delivery against defined activities and progress versus key milestones.

What You’ll Do

  • Co-ordinate Network Planning Seasonal development within a clearly communicated timeline ensuring goals, parameters, risks and opportunities are captured and tracked against milestones.
  • Prepare and facilitate key governance forums within End-to-End Planning including Schedule Design Forum and Seasonal Planning, co-ordinating timelines and dependencies, setting agendas, developing relevant content and presentations, chairing meetings, leading discussions and tracking actions
  • Collaborate across Network and Fleet, Ops, Commercial & E&M stakeholders to gather inputs, solicit feedback, socialise ideas, and drive alignment across functions
  • Act as conduit between different stakeholders to facilitate trade-off discussions and help to unblock issues.
  • Design and facilitate relevant workshops or break-outs (when required) to evolve end-to-end planning, generate new ideas, support the development of new concepts, tools and models and address pain points
  • Ensure thorough documentation of timelines, processes, governance, analyses and decision-making
  • Support Network Planning areas with specific pieces of work as required, particularly where there is a strong cross functional / project management element.
  • There is an expectation that you will undertake adhoc work on an exceptional basis or provide relevant cover for other team tasks
