About Team / Role

The EA for the Office of the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) is a highly visible role and will partner with other EAs, executives, and senior leaders both within the business and within Risk and Compliance (R&C). This individual is expected to build good working relationships at all levels. Responsibilities include: managing calendars, arranging travel, and managing expenses, meeting preparation and organization, preparing reports, planning off-sites and team events, and handling information requests. WEX is a dynamic, fast-paced organization and this position requires a high-energy individual with strong administrative and interpersonal skills.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Provide comprehensive support to the CRCO and additional R&C senior leaders as required, ensuring efficient management of schedule, communications, and priorities.
  • Provide project support for key meetings, including planning, logistics and execution, coordination and engagement of attendees or key stakeholders, content creation and/or consolidation and actively driving initiatives and actions to completion including Town Halls, Leadership meetings, BOD meetings, off-sites, etc.
  • Provide communication support, to include management of emails and tracking of requests and highlighting items requiring urgent response; Creating and/or transmitting communications on behalf of the CRCO – which may include Newsletters, Announcements, etc.
  • Vendor/Contract/Budget Management: Provide support to the procurement, vendor, contract and invoicing processes to ensure alignment with Budget and WEX Standards and Policies.
  • Calendar Management: Manage the CRCOs schedule and act as a liaison to internal and external clients and teams. Help prioritize the most pressing items.
  • Travel/Itinerary Management: Management of travel and prioritization of CRCO’s time in alignment with corporate meetings; Track and submit expenses on behalf of the CRCO.
  • Assist in preparation of CRCO presentations, key messages and speaking notes.
  • Support Risk team meetings; Take notes and identify key actions / deliverables and ensure a cadence of follow up and collaboration from the team to complete identified tasks.
  • Serve as liaison between employees, executives, senior leaders, and CRCO, regarding project updates, proposals, and other key areas requiring CRCO input.
  • Tracking high priority initiatives for the executive and identifying any obstacles, communicating initiative status to the executive, pulling in other executives or team members as necessary.
  • Help drive a strong team culture including=coordinating regular team get togethers.

Experience You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in an executive support capacity. Experience supporting C-suite executives is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical, project coordination, and management skills; Strong attention to detail, with commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize needs effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into executive level insights and debriefs.
  • Confidence and the ability to lead, establish relationships, and resolve conflicts.
  • A commitment to discretion and confidentiality, coupled with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX’s total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00
