Join our esteemed Clinical Outpatient Services Program as a Behavioral Health Outpatient Counselor (LCAS/A, LCSW/A, LCMHC/A) in a remote setting, where your expertise will empower individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver diverse clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Provide community support and conduct thorough clinical evaluations.
  • Maintain comprehensive client records, including treatment plans and clinical psychosocial assessments.
  • Complete authorization documentation related to MCO funding, Medicaid, and third-party billing punctually.
  • Identify and connect clients with tailored resources based on their specific needs.
  • Engage actively in clinical supervision and team meetings.
  • Occasionally offer SAIOP (Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program) services as required.
  • Participate in crisis phone rotations approximately 1-2 times annually.

Required Skills

  • Proven clinical experience with individuals, families, or groups with mental health or substance use disorders.
  • Familiarity with dual diagnoses, substance dependence/abuse, and DSM-V criteria.
  • In-depth understanding of the 12 Core Functions of substance abuse counseling.
  • Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a Human Services field.
  • Fully or provisionally licensed to practice clinically (e.g., LCSW, LCAS, LCMHC), with a strong preference for fully licensed LCSWs.

Compensation And Benefits

Starting Pay: $26.00+ per hour, commensurate with credentials.

Flexible scheduling options, including 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum billing expectation of 25 clinical service hours per week.
